UF Health Jacksonville launched its first mobile clinic in September 2026. The program will provide health screenings, primary care, wellness visits, and preventive services in neighborhoods across the Jacksonville area.
The clinic’s first scheduled stop is September 26 at Wayman Temple AME Church. Services will be available to community members, including people who are not established UF Health patients.
UF Health Jacksonville plans to spend three to six months evaluating potential host sites, including churches and senior centers. The program is intended to reach people who face transportation barriers or have difficulty getting to a medical office.
A private grant funded the program. Mission Mobile Medical prepared the clinic with a wheelchair ramp and private care spaces. A community paramedic will support services on site.
