Getting healthcare out in this part of the world is very difficult, and that’s why I appreciate these people so much. It’s just such a huge help for Bucklin. They support all the handicapped people like myself, and I’ve seen young children come in here, too. You actually feel like they care about you. It’s very comforting to know that they’re here in town, that you don’t have to drive 30 or 50 miles to see a doctor.
It’s been so nice to have the clinic here because you know that you could come up here even in an emergency, and if you need other care or more specific doctors, they can send you on. Otherwise, we would have to drive 20 to 30 miles to get somewhere and have to wait, possibly. Here we have great access to it immediately.
Having this here, we can pull them out of school and have them back within 20 minutes if they’re in school. If they’re sick enough to where they’re not in school, it’s convenient for us that we can pick a time that works best for us to get them in here. These guys are pretty good at just getting us in whenever it fits our schedule. That part is real convenient for our busy schedule and everything that we’ve got going on in life.
We’re just a lot happier with this, and it’s close. It’s close to our house. We’ve had a lot of problems with doctors here in Dodge, especially with my daughter being disabled. Tina has a lot of anxiety, and here she doesn’t have a problem because she knows she’s not going to be here very long.
