Art of Caring’s Mobile Health Clinic

Initially, when I thought about doing a mobile health clinic, it was just trying to fill in the gaps where healthcare was lapsing in Mississippi. A lot of that was getting access to care. My idea was, how can I bring healthcare to the people that need it instead of setting up and having them come to me? Transportation is definitely a big issue there.

I did a Google search and got a list of companies. Mission Mobile did pop up. I did a ChatGPT search, Mission Mobile again. I was like, if both of them are suggesting them, I’m going to go with them.

I reached out, and Lynn Coachman was actually the first person that I talked to. I told her my mission and what I wanted to do. Her first thought was, I’ve got to get you in touch with Michaela. She set up the appointment with Michaela, and we bonded immediately.

She’s very knowledgeable, very intelligent. If it’s something that she’s not sure about, she’s going to do the research to make sure that we’re on the right track. I was so grateful because I reached out to Mission Mobile specifically for the unit to be built, but I got so much more than just that. I definitely got guidance and anything with the licensure and registration.

From A to Z, Mission Mobile has helped me with this whole process because I came in not knowing anything. They helped me to build basically a roadmap, get this program set up and bring it to Mississippi.
