Medical
Mobile-specific requirements identifiedThe Department of Health’s mobile clinic instructions, revised September 4, 2025, require an Article 28 hospital or diagnostic and treatment center operator. New mobile extension clinics and replacement mobile clinics use a Limited Review Application through the New York State Electronic Certificate of Need system. Submit the required schedules, scaled equipment floor plan, and self-certification addressing safe occupancy, proposed services, applicable Facility Guidelines Institute provisions for mobile clinics, handwashing inside the clinic, and accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Mobile imaging clinics require a physicist’s radiation-protection certification. Confirm application fees with the Department before submitting.
