Streamlining mobile mammography services. Concern over loss of quality.
McCue, P
Abstract
Mobile mammography services can offer low-cost film screening to large numbers of women. In addition to having mobility, a screening operation can take other steps such as batch processing and reading to reduce costs. While low costs are primarily a function of high volume, radiologists caution against allowing unacceptable rates of false-negative results to occur in the screening process.
