Abstract

A grant-funded, capacity-building program among community-based organizations with mobile health units and a large College of Nursing was designed to increase immersive clinical opportunities in rural communities while expanding outreach. RN-BSN and graduate FNP students worked with multi-disciplinary teams during community outreach events. Thousands of health care screenings, assessments, and other interventions were conducted.
