Abstract

A retrospective study of social needs screening in a pediatric mobile health unit found that among 2,120 children assessed using Well Child Check/IHELP and SEEK tools, 21% screened positive for at least one social need. Most common: limited resources (6.7%), behavioral concerns (5.7%), and food insecurity (4.1%). Connected families with 1,270 community resource referrals. Integration of social needs screening was feasible in a mobile health unit setting.
