Perspectives of older adults experiencing homelessness on health and health services: a qualitative study.

Abstract
Qualitative interviews with 25 adults aged 50+ experiencing homelessness in Calgary, Canada explored perspectives on health and health services. Participants described challenges in managing complex health conditions while homeless including medication storage, wound care, and accessing follow-up appointments. Mobile health services and street outreach were identified as preferred models that reduce barriers. Participants valued respectful, non-judgmental care and continuity of providers.
