Abstract

This scoping review examined 20 articles on mobile health clinics and childhood obesity. Clinics demonstrated ability to identify children at risk (BMI screening), provide nutrition education and physical activity counseling, and connect families with community resources. Mobile clinics reached underserved communities including children from racial/ethnic minority and low-income backgrounds. Limited data on sustained weight management outcomes in mobile clinic settings.
