Abstract

This pilot study assessed feasibility, acceptability, and preliminary outcomes of initiating gender-affirming hormone therapy (GAHT) on a mobile health clinic (Transhealth Northampton in Massachusetts). Over 9 months, 59 unique patients received GAHT. The intervention demonstrated feasibility, high levels of acceptability and satisfaction (85% of participants rated care as 9-10 out of 10), and was associated with decreases in depression (PHQ-9) and anxiety (GAD-7) measures.
