Abstract

This retrospective cohort study evaluated a mobile mammography unit deployed at community events in Salt Lake City, Utah, from 2016 to 2022. Of 1,175 women screened, 51.3% were racial/ethnic minorities. The cancer detection rate was 4.3 per 1,000 screenings, comparable to national rates. Recall rate was 12.0%. Mobile mammography at community events effectively reached diverse populations, including 40% who were self-pay/uninsured.
