Abstract
A 10-year retrospective analysis of a mobile mammography program in the Bronx, NY. 68,413 screening mammograms were performed; 55% of patients were Black and 30% Hispanic. Cancer detection rate was 4.2 per 1,000 screens. The program achieved sustained community engagement with stable yearly screening volumes around 5,000-7,000. Patients screened via mobile mammography were more likely to be racial/ethnic minorities and less likely to be insured.
