Abstract
This review describes how mobile postpartum care can improve the health and well-being of birthing people and their infants. Key themes include meeting patients in their communities, providing care to the birthing person and infant in a single encounter, advanced practice nursing leadership and staffing, and screening for health-related social needs. Mobile healthcare is an innovative solution to reduce barriers to postpartum care.
