Global Mobile Dental Unit Market Impacted by COVID-19 Pandemic

Global Mobile Dental Unit Market Impacted by COVID-19 Pandemic

The global Mobile Dental Unit market has been stressed due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. As the disease spread rapidly rate many countries ordered lockdowns and created requirements for social distancing. Many manufacturers halted or slowed manufacturing and current orders were delayed or canceled due to economic outlook or restrictions for cross border trading.

Conversely, the demand for readily available mobile dental units has spiked as government relief funding becomes available to local non-profits. Market inventory shrank significantly to a seasonally adjusted 1.2 Month supply ratio.

Currently, all mobile dental unit manufacturers are scheduling deliveries of new units at least 5-6 months from the date of contract execution.

Falling economic demand will affect the ability of major manufacturers who are not properly diversified to produce without a decline in speed or quality. The lead times of the custom chassis will also impact the available supply for the 3rd and 4th quarters of 2020.

Mission Mobile Medical is the only licensed dealer of certified pre-owned mobile medical units in the United States and Canada, offering 10-year warranties and assistance with fundraising, and preventative maintenance programs.
