THE OPPORTUNITY: Fleet Maintenance Manager
The Fleet Maintenance Manager monitors and coordinates the nationwide M3 Preventative Maintenance Program and warranty repairs for all clients.
This client-facing, enthusiastic, and detailed-oriented coordinator will work closely with our clients in the Healthcare market to provide world-class service and reliability.

Manage all planned and unplanned preventative maintenance and repair work for fleet vehicles

100% repair & warranty decisions investigated within 24 hrs
100% repair & warranty decisions engaged to a POA (Plan of Action) within 72 hrs
100% on-time POA status updates to clients regarding the cost and timing of planned and unplanned maintenance items
100% on-budget POA results
Work will typically be performed in a team-based office environment with significant work-from-home opportunities.
Work will be on collaborative, challenging projects that offer the opportunity to learn and grow your engineering expertise and have fun in the process.
Travel (up to 10%) may be required for customer and supplier meetings, off-site training, off-site testing, and attendance at industry conferences.
This position is a Leadership role
Directly involved in the Profit & Loss of the business. This includes budget responsibility, planning, and execution of design & engineering purchases.
Regular, open and honest communication
Participate in interviewing and selection of qualified candidates during the hiring process for Maintenance Techs & other administrators.
Cultivate and maintain productive supplier relationships
Assist with the development of processes, systems, and performance goals for the Engineering & Design department as a whole
Create and execute action plans associated with those goals.
SALARY & BENEFITS
Starting Salary: $25k - $50k with a potential quarterly profit-sharing bonus
Benefits include flex-time, work-from-home arrangements, as well as potential health, dental & vision insurance, paid holidays, and paid time off.
This is a “direct-hire” opportunity and not a temporary or contract position.
A positive & curious attitude with a history of being a team-player
A Minimum of 8-10 years' experience working as diesel, trailer, equipment, and/or heavy equipment shop or fleet management is required. A Minimum of 4-5 years' previous experience leading or managing a team in a shop environment is also required.
College degree and/or trade school / technical training is preferred but not necessary.
Exceptional communication, computer, and organizational skills are required.
Must possess a current & valid CDL Class A CA driver's license or willingness to obtain one through the company.
A reasonable mechanical experience that includes or knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, and diagnostics to the point of being able to communicate with clarity in a fleet maintenance environment.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products and report writing.
This position requires the ability to walk, sit, and stand; communicate face-to-face, telephonically, and electronically; and lift or carry up to 50 pounds. Candidates must be able to accomplish the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.
